LAST PUSH! PLEASE COMPLETE SURVEY NOW!
Broadband in Rural Communities
There is an initiative to try to achieve better broadband speeds in rural locations.
Please help by completing the on-line survey - the more responses we get, the better our bargaining position!
There are also some documents to explain the initiative, for businesses and home users - please see the Documents section.

Welcome to Tibberton!
Thank you for visiting our website.
Tiiberton is a small village approximately 6 miles north-west of the city of Gloucester; we are close to the market town of Newent and on the edge of the Forest of Dean.
This website does its best to represent life in our village. We have a large number of different clubs and societies, reflecting a variety of interests.
Whatever your interest in Tibberton, we hope you will enjoy your visit; come back often; and get in touch to let us know how we can help.
Diamond Jubilee
Next year marks the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The last monarch to achieve 60 years on the throne was Queen Victoria, in 1897; it is unlikely that many of us will be around to celebrate another Diamond Jubilee!
The Parish Council would be very pleased to hear any ideas of how Tibberton can mark this important event. Would you like a street party? A commemorative mug? Plant an oak tree?
There is a thread on the Notice Board (go to Community Services - Notice Board) if you would like to air your ideas on the Notice Board; or please contact the clerk to the Parish Council, or any of the Councillors.
Affordable Housing for Tibberton
Following the public consultation evening on 18th October, Keith Chaplin has provided three documents to aid the debate.
One is a map showing the 5 plots which land-owners have offered as potentially suitable locations.
There is also a copy of comments made by the local planning authorities on the suitability of the sites; and an example of how regulations may be drafted to ensure that any affordable housing is available only to people from the village.
